An Oracle who has compiled the quantitative and objective facts of financial history , with proprietary computer analysis with uncanny accuracy and results.
bruisernd7 March 2015
I was registered in stocks, bonds and commodities 41 years ago after completing a grueling training period on Wall Street with some of Wall Streets finest White Shoe firms. I regularly followed the work of Martin Armstrong for my career as an Exchange Member, professional broker, trader, analyst and author of a daily institutional Treasury Bond hedging market letter , known as "From the Floor of the Chicago Board of Trade."

People who dream of learning the language finance and desire to view the financial markets through the perfect prism should learn "The Forecaster's " story. You'll never view the world the same again.

Martin Armstrong is dialed in like few that ever traded . Come see the world in a way that you never have seen it before in your life.

A shocking example of American Justice (aka Goldman Sachs Justice)
reverendjackson8 May 2015
An amazing and true story of what happens when you take on the banking cartel.

The powers that be have tried very hard to make sure this documentary would never be made and even after it was made they tried to stop it from being shown in American theaters.

Martin has vowed to make sure his computer models will be safe for use by all of humanity and not just by the big banks for their financial gain.

I watched it twice. Thank you Martin Armstrong for your courage and resilience to endure what they did you to.

One-sided

Warning: Spoilers
There is absolutely no critical view in this "documentary". This mad man model seems to be taken straight from the movie PI and are never questioned. There are absolutely no logical connections between pi and further behavior of the stock marked just some "observations" he has done. This is pseudo-science at its worst.

There are so many attempts at wow moments. Maybe the worst is when we are shown a list that says 1998 on it and we are supposed to believe that this is actually written in 1998.

The premise of the movie is that his model works and everyone who questions him is part of a conspiracy to keep him silent.

Don't forget, he is a convicted financial felon. He makes a ton of predictions, many that often contradict each other:

April 2014 "World War III Is On The Horizon" Aug 2014 "Kiss paper money goodbye" Aug 2014 "WE ARE WITNESSING THE COLLAPSE OF DEMOCRACY" Sept 2014 "The Collapse of Socialism Driven by Political Corruption" Sept 2014 "''Martin Armstrong Fears 'Pension Funds Will Be Taken To Fund Infrastructure'' Sept 2014 "Spain is Militarizing Against Citizens – The Coming Civil War?" Sept 2014 "Scottish Rigged Vote'' Aug 2013 - Dow 30,000 and "THE STOCK MARKET WILL DOUBLE BY 2015!" Aug 2014 - "the US share market rising sharply," and "the cash SP500 should reach the 3000 level." And in Sept 2014 - "The Stock Market Will Keep On Climbing Financial Survival Network" Oct 2014 - "''November is still our target for a near-term correct low.''

and so on....

Excellent documentary
filmtravel10112 April 2015
The documentary was very well shot and the director and editor did an excellent job of keeping it insightful and provocative with a fantastic musical score. I was quite impressed with the flow of the film and surprised at the tempo as it covers a vast array of information on Martin Armstrong and his life and struggles. Kudos to the film makers. I was one of the lucky ones that caught a sneak preview in California.

Truly a remarkable film about a genius that is becoming a legend around the business world on the level of a "Tesla - John Adams". I have followed Martin Armstrong's career for a long time and used his advice to understand the global markets in a completely different unique manner that hopefully politicians and governments will follow to improve society rather than trying to avoid the same mistakes.

I've had the pleasure of also using his advice in my global trading business and also in my personal life and feel blessed that he continues to thrive and share his wisdom especially after so many unfortunate challenges. Keep up the great work. Carpe Diem!!

I highly recommend this film especially all the interviews that make it a very personal film, and it is hard to believe that it is not playing all over the USA.

Not a documentary
randomanon1 October 2015
An incoherent mess. This so called "documentary" does not present any coherent, logical reasons to believe Mr. Armstrong is anything but the runner of a Ponzi scheme. However, this is not how the story is presented to the viewer, instead all kinds of conspiracies (and incoherent predictions) are suggested. Almost all of the people being interviewed appear to be somehow involved in the scheme. Any Ponzi huckster needs to be able to BS his way to the top, and to cover his BS with even greater BS. If Mr. Armstrong made valid predictions, they should review a set of verifiably published predictions, not allow the people to pick and describe what predictions they made and how uncannily accurate they were.

In every Ponzi scheme, a lot of people did not believe it actually was a Ponzi scheme even after it was revealed to be such. There are a great number of Ponzi schemes involving algorithms purportedly predicting the market. Using the value of pi to predict markets is a ridiculous concept. In every Ponzi scheme, one essential question is that if somebody can predict the market, why would that person share this information with anybody? If the predictions become common knowledge, the market adjusts to these predictions, and there are no gains to be had.

Once upon a time Martin Armstrong was America's No1 political prisoner
stefficooling2 May 2015
It was the advertising of this documentary via alternative media which actually first introduced me to the economic teachings of Martin Armstrong. What I subsequently learnt blew my mind. It meant I had to disengage with linear thought processes and instead understand the importance of cycles, complexity and know that human nature has not changed for thousands of years as history tells us we always repeat the same mistakes. The predictive computer model Armstrong created is so valuable, those in power will go to corrupt lengths to obtain it for their own ends, and you can bet that means it will benefit just a handful of people and ruin a much greater number. We owe Marty for not cracking under the pressure of living a decade behind bars. The portrayal of his story and that of family and friends, one whose reputation remains in tatters, is captured in a moving and thoughtful way. Main protagonists on the 'other' side were asked to contribute for balance but declined to comment - praps their silence says a thousand words. Sure, this film is a vehicle to expose and elaborate his side of the story, but the underlying message conveyed is that time is of the essence. Political unwillingness to address growing sovereign indebtedness exacerbating economic stagnation will deepen this crisis - all brewing for a turning point in his famous model for this October 2015. In the concluding minutes, focus is given to an Armstrong prediction, which does indeed come true. We cannot afford not to listen to this guy.

True story but may never be shown in the US
seamus-694 March 2015
Terrific documentary about a genius who is also a crusader for the public.

It's a real pity it won't be screened in the US due to censorship.

It appears the big banks also run the entertainment industry as well as the government.

What is interesting is that even this site makes it hard to locate this movie. I typed the name in letter for letter and the search engine never prompted the movie.

For those lucky enough to see it it will no doubt open your eyes and make a hell of a lot of sense along the way.

FOOTNOTE 30/04/2015 - they did eventually screen it in the US for a week!!

Shines a light on the dark and mysterious world of high finance
park-884871 May 2015
Highly recommend this movie. It is well conceived and tells a tale of a very complicated financial scandal in an easily understood way without getting bogged down in tedious details. If it is true, then we need to be afraid, very afraid. Martin Armstrongs treatment at the hands of the law enforcement agencies was appalling to say the least. He is a difficult person to understand. I believe he thinks in a completely different way to most of us and is able to see the big picture. I salute his braveness in the face of adversity. That he could come out of prison and carry on his important work without showing bitterness is inspiring .A convincing and well told story of political and financial corruption at the highest levels of government and the banking industry. A real eye opener.

Warning: Spoilers
Should be required reading for all politicians. The model he uses is based upon mankind's history with currency. When it's over- layed with the world's money and commodities markets some very interesting cycles and predictions are revealed. Common sense tells us to heed the warnings. Will be interesting to see his source code revealed and understood some day soon. It helped me grasp how much power the banks can and do have. Not to mention the bullying and miscarriage of justice heaped on, from what I gathered, what is essentially an innocent man. Btw, I did ask my bank to lend me $1,000.00 per month for the rest of my life and they refused me.
