Before watching I saw most of the reviews say how great this movie was. Best movie I have ever seen. Those people must watch some pretty God awful movies because this was not a good movie at all. Very sub-par acting, the annoying loud noises were the scariest things about it, the plot was random and pointless, the ending was a lame attempt at saving the movie. I only gave it a 2 because Kadin tried his damnedest but he's just not a good actor. Not a Blair Witch and not a Paranormal Activity.

Not sure what they were thinking when they made this movie. Very random. The boy camping in the woods and he finds his sister that has been lost for 2 years but doesn't bother to leave or go back to his grandfather's home. Let's just wander around and sleep in the tent.

Dumb premise..mom letting teenager son go camping overnight in the woods. Alone! Yeah...no! And he sticks around despite all strange occurrences. The entire movie is sounds and light effects to startle the audience. Pretty good for a bit, but the novelty wears off quickly. Too much of the same, and really nothing else happens. Moreover, the ending made not much sense. The audience doesn't get enough clues to work with, and it's left wild guessing. Thats not too satisfying. I have to agree with other users who said that anyone giving good reviews must be friends, relatives, and crew members. 1 star is a little harsh, but 3 stars feels about right for a movie with a dumb premise and almost nothing happening in it. A+ for effort.

The premise is a mother takes her tween child to camp by his self in the deep woods where her younger child disappeared two years prior. Yes, the premise is that stupid. Next, there are only two on-camera performers (relatives of the filmmaker) who are cute, but lack the chops to carry a film. The sound design is probably the greatest sin, after the sheer boring nature of bad film-making.
Normally I would not bother reviewing a film so horrid, but I had to call out the families and friends who skewed the rating by giving this abomination a 10/10. Many of us use IMDB to choose films and these one-time reviewers who for the most part have just joined IMDB have cheated us of our time. You and your film suck.

That was by far, the worst movie I have recently encountered. Kudos to the one that made the trailer. Negative stars to the one that made the movie. I wasted an hour and a half of my life watching this boring POS. I get that it was an indie film but geez man, c'mon. Watching a kid in a tent listening to the same ghost noises over and over again was an absolute nightmare in itself.

This movie was excrement. And it won awards? Wow. Must have been zero competition. And the ending made no sense. Kaiden was ok as an actor but I doubt he's got a huge future in the industry. Watch this movie if you want to know how not to make a movie.

I am speechless. I am without speech. This movie was beyond bad. Please do yourself a favor and ignore the good reviews. They are obviously fake. I felt sorry for the kids in the film. They tried their best but the movie was just plain awful.

I'm really sorry to say that this was such a bad movie! I like to give kids a chance, but wow, the acting was so bad. The plot? What plot? The utter goofiness and lack of anything of interest was just....bad! I feel like the people who praised this movie were friends and family. So, bad acting, no intelligent plot, silly night scenes, not scary scares and those two kids must have said "Avery and Kadin" 800 times! I kid you not. It was awful. Yeah, I was like another reviewer who mentioned a bear coming and taking the kid in the first 5 minutes and just end it there. Harsh I know, sorry.
I'm not sure how this film-maker justified continuing to work on this film

The preview seemed promising. That's probably the best comment I can make about this film. It was truly terrible. Would not even know where to begin. If I had paid to see this movie in a theater, I would have walked out and asked for a refund. I've only ever done that once before in my entire life and I think that movie was better than this one, it was THAT bad.

This movie.. seems a shame to call it a movie, is just quite utterly the most boring thing I have sat thru...watching paint dry is more entertaining. the main character sounds as though he's reading from a Q card. skips all over with annoying jump-scares that are not not scary but just plain annoying. At one point I was hoping for a bear to show up and eat that skinny little Q card reading kid. Don't worry about spoilers because this movie has no plot whatsoever.

I was surprised to see mainly 1/10 and 10/10 scores for this movie. If people are that divided, it's normally a sign of a great movie since it shows extreme emotions on both sides! I don't think that's the case here, though.
For a low budget movie with essentially 1.5 actors, I can't claim it's the best horror or suspense movie ever made. On the other hand, watching a 12 year old command the screen for 90 minutes is certainly impressive. The movie holds the attention, and the sheer emptiness is compelling, although I can see why someone who needs a decapitation every ten minutes might find it boring and uneventful. However, those raised on the old slow burn B&W thrillers where imagination is needed will find it a very worthy movie. My main complaint is the persistently loud noises, an issue already commented upon by other reviewers. But overall worth a watch.

This movie is just so bad that I'm not going to even bother with a review. Very low budget and it's plain silly. The plot changes at the very end and reverses everything it portrays throughout. The jump scares aren't even scary and sound design is poor.

I have no idea how this movie won any awards. Its awkward and boring. The poor kid tried but had little to work with. Very low budget film, so many jump scares its obnoxious. I still have no idea why I watched it all the way through....dont waste your time unless you are 9 and at a slumber party.

I would rather stick my hand in a room of mosquitos then watch this again... that's how boring and painful this movie was to watch

It must be for worst movie ever awards. This movie is one of the worst I do not recommend it the whole movie is comprised of trying to scare you through sounds and cheap trick effects it makes no sense whatsoever and I swear if that boy says the word Avery one more time I'm gonna pull all my hair out and smash the TV into Little Itty bitty pieces !!!

My God, this movie was hard to watch. The child actor really wasn't a good leading role to keep the movie going. To be fair he tried. The story made no sense and the night seemed to go on forever!!! The directors had no idea how to progress this movie.
It's an I'll attempt at horror with the jump scares with loud noises being probably the most scary if even. Anyways, watch if you want but dont expect a lot.

The greater than 2 star reviewer are clearly film crew or family. This was AWFUL. A potentially interesting premise ruined by bland acting , terrible sound, and entirely unscarey scares. It reminds me of intros on video games - the low budget kind. I normally wouldn't bother to get review a movie, but i don't want anyone else to get waste their time.

"Interlaced" is a suspenseful horror film unlike many these days. Most are concerned with blood and gore, body count, and not scary. "Interlaced" is atmospheric, spooky, bloodless, and carried by strong acting and fleshed out characters.

Okay, um... what? This movie was basically a bunch of bright lights, flashes, filled with screams, cries, and the one time lunch box flying on it's own...
There was no plot, and the actors were clearly picked from the streets. Sorry to sound so negative, but wow.

The movie was pretty good, considering most of the acting was done by a talented young man! It was creepy, but then got very confusing with lots of random lights and sounds. I liked the plot, and the boy and girl who played the siblings.
