- Calvin Bunker (not to be confused with his much more likeable brother, Kurt), is an extremely disturbing and evil character, and his hostility towards Kurt is especially hard to watch.

- Arguably the most violent episode in the entire series. There is an assault on a military base and about a dozen mercenaries are killed; a man has his throat slit in close up; a gang kills about six to eight rivals in a shootout; a man has a cigar burned into his eye and is later decapitated (also in close up); a man has a chest tattoo burned off with a blowtorch; a man has his arm severed with a sword.
Frightening & Intense Scenes
- Dalton's treatment of Hood is very disturbing, especially as he intentionally dehydrates him until he "confesses" to murdering his father.
