The reveal at the end of the movie that Porter never existed makes absolutely no sense, because earlier in the movie, they show entire file folders of Sikes and Porter from their military days with pictures.
At different times during the knife fight between Sikes (Seagal) and Porter (Sheffer), Seagal's knife clearly changes throughout the fight from a tanto style knife to a hunting style knife.
