Warning: Spoilers
I really enjoyed the first season, but the second left out some important logic. On the plus side, it shows why cops shoot as soon as they have a clear shot. On the down side, two cops stood their, weapons aimed, as bodies drop left and right. They could have saved lives. They didn't make clear if they didn't shoot because of they didn't have a clear shot or anything, but well into the shootings they said they have a green light to shoot...as though they were waiting for the green light...which is downright stupid. Then again, this took place in California where they once had laws that required cops to pick up their shells during gun fights and yes, that did get cops killed. Then they have the armed mass murderer on stage..clean shot...cop doesn't take it. *sigh* And Bochco supposedly tries for realism. Not found here at all. Awful awful logic. Very disappointed. Oh, and cops aim for center chest and head (evidence - see all practice targets) not for guns. And when the first gun is dropped, they would have taken him down when he reached for his other gun, before he got the hostage. Because then the hostage never would have been a hostage. Having basic knowledge can ruin what was once a great show...written by someone who doesn't know what they're doing. Then again, as stated previously, it proved why cops shoot...they would have saved a lot of lives and prevented someone from being a hostage.

Warning: Spoilers
This episode started off with a lot of excitement and high tension .So much promise until it went all cliché . A teenager commits murder ,he was a loner who played video games and listened to goth music .Omg yes playing a video game and listening to music makes teenagers become murderers . Now while the show never directly goes out and say's he killed people for those reasons they do make a point of shoving two video game cases in-front of the camera and going to a goth concert full of scary freaks . They Collect his Xbox and mention his Xbox profile name to further tie in the link. Sorry but when shows resort to this tired old reason for teen murders it just puts me off completely .If it truly was causal then there would be thousands of murders every week related to games . Please find better story content rather than furthering some personal mission .
