a railway crossing
Kirpianuscus8 November 2018
For me, about it, the poetry of this short film remains the powerful memory. An old man and a railway crossing. Trains, barriers, a boy with few coins. And routine. Few scenes are special - the tower of cards and the hand of old man posing coins in the hand of boy who, maybe, is just himself. In same measure, a film about India. In its essence and silence and loneliness. A place. A man in charge. A railway crossing. Trains and barriers. The result - a special poem about life.
