- In this witty, screwball comedy, two inept vigilantes are hired to assassinate a Big Pharma virologist that goes from bad to worse in a New York minute.
- Teach, an out of work struggling actor, along with Gunny, his sidekick, are sweet-talked into using their unpolished ex Marines skills by Melvin, Teach's shady talent agent,(who also moonlights as an agent for hit men). Melvin discovers Teach's Marines background and decides to capitalize from his combat skills instead of his acting skills, he hires the two inept vigilantes to assassinate a Big Pharma virologist before he can falsely testify in front of Congress advocating the safety of their dangerous pharmaceuticals. At Melvin's outlandish suggestion, Teach also desperately attempts to film himself during the assassination, to spice up his lack luster dramatic acting reel in hopes of jump-starting his struggling career, but not before their harebrained scheme and unresolved issues gets the best of them.—Anonymous
- Teach and Gunny, have lived a parallel existence, as infants they both were abandoned by their parents, on the same church stoops, both grew up in the same orphanage together, and both joined the Marines together, only to be discharged, (due to their hotheadedness, mainly towards each other). Teach, a lone wolf, has difficulty coping with his abandonment and identity issues, he only finds solace when he is acting ''at least the character has a history even if it is fictional, unlike me, a void, a question mark.'' Teach desperate and having no luck getting acting work, decides to pay Melvin a visit, his shady talent agent, a throw back from the Sinatra era who is less than transparent in his additional vocation, (an agent for hit men), during their high tempered meeting Melvin surprisingly discovers Teach's Marines background listed on his resume and jumps at the solution that Teach might have more luck with his combat skills instead of his acting skills. He offers Teach an opportunity, to perform a ''Just Cause '', eradicating greedy scum that prey off the unsuspecting public, in this case, a high level virologist who is set to falsely testify in front of Congress on behalf of Big Pharma advocating the safety of their dangerous pharmaceuticals. Teach is doubly enticed when Melvin clues him in on how to spark his acting career in addition to performing a ''Just Cause'', by suggesting that he film himself during the assassination and use the footage to spice up his lack luster acting reel. The inept dynamic duo's harebrained scheme coupled with their unresolved issues gets the best of them and the assassination goes from bad to worse in a New York minute. ''Just Cause'' where Art and Life irritate each other.
