Plot

An opening type-on warning summary followed by talking heads describing events leading up to civilization collapse. The main narrator of the film then tells how she will go out and search for survivors and document their comments on video.

One year after the collapse of civilization a lone documentary filmmaker wanders the urban and rural landscape in and around a small Midwestern city and captures on-camera the comments of 22 survivors. They describe the aftermath of civilization collapse and hopelessness of their situation waiting for the end as the climate continues to worsen.—Mark Thoma
