Erasing Dad was censored in Argentina. Some of the professionals who appeared in the film got a court order to stop distribution and have it removed from YouTube, making front page news in October 2014. Even though they signed releases, they did not agree with the message of the film (that children should see their fathers). The censorship was overturned in 2015 but one professional still has to have his face blurred.
