Throughout the movie, all of the characters including law enforcement characters refer to the recurring crimes as "robberies." The crimes are not robberies; they are "burglaries." To commit robbery, the criminal uses force or threat of force to compel the victim to give the robber the property or to allow the robber to take the property without resistance. In contrast, a burglary involves entering a business or dwelling with intent to commit a felony inside the premises. You can commit burglary when there is no one home; you cannot commit a "robbery" of a vacant building.
Calvin takes only one photograph of Mike in the purple princess costume, the photograph which can be seen in Calvin's smart phone's view finder. The blown-up photo that Calvin posts in the police department is not the same photo, the blown up photo which has more of Mike's body showing and Mike's mouth being in a different pose.
The female police officer's name is Rosalie Ramos, but her boss, Frank Milano, refers to her as "Rosario" - which is not only wrong but a masculine name.
Correction: It's only masculine in Italian. It's Feminine in Spanish, and "Ramos" seems to be Spanish. :)
Correction: Since Ramos seems to be Spanish the correct feminine name would be Rosaria. In Spanish the 'o' ending on a word is masculine and the 'a' is feminine.
When the Police Chief and Mike talk about Mayor Danielson's dropping poll numbers, the statement and the corresponding text on the Chief's computer screen about that drop being 5% in the last week does not match the graph accompanying the story.
When the police pull up at McNamara's headquarters, on a wall of a business near where they park is a sign titled Garden Centre (how it would be spelled in Canada where the movie is filmed). The movie is supposed to take place in Washington state in the US, so the sign should read Garden Center.
Ava sings the lyrics to Chim-Chim-Cheree incorrectly, singing instead Chim-Chimenny.
