Homeland

Factual errors

At the road block where the bus travellers are searched by the Pakistani Army, the soldiers are wearing the old style South African "Otan" steel military helmet which was in service from 1963-1987. Pakistani soldiers use an older clone of the standard World War II US helmet, or newer ones which are kevlar.

Miscellaneous

Farah asks Qadir, what does ''Is it safe'' mean in Urdu, She's actually referring to if a certain place is safe or if a task is safe is to perform, considering the storyline of Homeland. The reply which Qadir gives is ''Kya yai mehfooz hai''. The reply is incorrect not only because of Qadir's pronunciation, but it refers if a certain object is safe and is not used for a place or task.

Errors in geography

The bus station where Aayan catches the bus is actually the Grand Parade in the centre of Cape Town. No buses leave from there, but there is a bus station right next to it.
