Real, Raw, Natural, and Relatable!!!

In terms of online web series content for the LGBT community, it's very hard to find a quality show that touches on ethnic based subjects that is done in a tasteful manner. Cheetah In August, is a series that tells a story that unveil faces of the community that are not discussed in terms of mental conditions and sections of religion. The pilot drags a little, but helps the viewer understand the lives of the people we will soon come to love in the show. The acting in this series is along the lines of 'Empire, Power, and Scandal.' Just to point out, Andre Myers (August) and Jonathon Medina (Thatcher) are amazing and truly a pleasure to watch on screen! I would recommend everyone of color to check out this show you will not be disappointed.

An "Emipre" & "Power" viewers must see show!
JessT3426 August 2015
This past weekend I had the opportunity to attend a private screening of this series! This show had me literally engaged the entire time. The production quality for an independent production was top notch and would hold it's own with the big budget series like "Orange is the New Black, & Transparent." Cheetah in August, is filled with drama, sex, laughter. Cheetah in August, touches on topics that are hot in the media in regards to religion and the right of same-sex love. This show is not for kids due to the nature of the content but it's worth the $11.99 season pass subscription. Thus, if you one of those teens or young adults struggling to understand your sexuality "Cheetah in August" is a must watch! Check it out on Vimeo on Demand!

One of My best

While searching for a good show to watch, I came across this series and liked it immediately after watching first episode. I must tell you that this is really gripping and would keep you riveted to your seats. The show is really entertaining and at the same time it tries to focus one the social issues faced by people . It tell problems about the gay community. It tries to touch issues of sexuality, religion , love and hate. The show successfully captures human emotions and you can feel it when you watch the series. Even when it touches the human emotions , the show is not boring and keep you one the edge while you watch the episodes . Once I completed watching first season, I was worried about how the second season would be. When it came out recently , I was happy that it has exceeded the expectations and I am loving it. The story makes a good progress ahead. August now has a new life and ANthony's mom and brother are helping him with physical therapy. Kudos to the director to coming up with second season masterpiece.

It will definitely grow into you

Cheetah in August is a great series and fun to watch. It aims to tackle issues which people like to avoid, but which needs to be discussed. The series shows the problems faced by gay community. Director clearly shows the relationship between the characters. The series is told in such a way that it keeps the audience on toes in anticipation of what will happen next. It is real, educative and clearly shows what people to come face to face with situations that happen on a daily basis and how one can go about them. Look at the journey of Andre Myers (August), from his high school years into adult life, it is extremely interesting and current to what happens in today lives. The audience can totally feel the emotions faced by the characters in the movie. The themes explored; sexuality, love, religion, psychology, and self-hate throughout this series definitely embrace and raise awareness to social issues which are in most of the time hidden. What I like the best in this series Cheetah in August is it deals with sexual issues, love struggles and also religion, I can relate to this. Actors have put life on screen. This is a must watch series and I highly recommend everyone to watch it.

Warning: Spoilers
I can't wait for the next episode to come out! I watched the entire fist season and loved it! Cheetah in August embraces ethnicity and sexuality in a way you have never seen before! I can relate to a lot of it and that is why I like it so much! It has a lot of touchy subjects that most people try to avoid, but I think through this show, it can help more people relate and come to a better understanding. I don't usually watch t.v. shows but for some reason, this one stood out the most and I couldn't stop watching it! Each episode makes you in suspense for the next one! It is just that amazing! I love it and definitely recommend!

Absolutely captivating and real!

I was pleasantly surprised when a friend of mine suggested Cheetah in August and even more surprised with the awesome stories and character integrated within. August was someone I think everyone can relate to in some way or another. he resonates with me because there is something so real and soul searching about him. I guess something we all deal with but his journey is something you find yourself going on and rooting for him. The obstacles and challenges he not only faces but overcomes gives a great level of hope and spirit, a more positive vibe and message. it is well directed and keeps you on the edge of your seat wondering whats going to happen next as if you are part of the story too. The sexual issues and struggles with religion is also something we can all relate too. Something that reminds us all that we are human, fallible. Capable of mistakes but also capable of change and good. This one was show i binge watched until there were no more episodes and I wish there were more! I will probably watch it again and likely learn new lessons as a result!

It's a great show you shouldn't miss.
kimboyd-9023118 November 2016
An engaging story line hooks you right in to Cheetah in August's concerns. The main character's struggle to resolve their identity once and for all is riveting and at times too real. The show touches topics that are rarely discussing in other mainstream shows, and this gives any viewer an astonishing experience. I liked it mostly because the characters, in themselves, are so captivating that I almost forgot to do my chores for two weeks. Actually I kept missing them, just thinking about the deep implications this show has to our society. All in all, it's a great show you wouldn't wanna miss!

This film displays a sort of effortless innocence. It's rather good, I suppose, taken against the grain of some other independent films. It stands out on its own and is significantly better because it is able to show both reverence and retaliation to its material. What I really like about it is how the characters emanate everything else that the film needs despite its low budget. Perhaps that's why they chose these actors, as refreshing their faces are, they're also really good at what they do. The film explores its social themes and does so quite daftly, with a critical eye that's keen to the slightest political nuance a word may bear.

A riveting and thought-provoking show!
aj_business1 December 2016
Warning: Spoilers
The show, 'Cheetah in August' starring Andre Myers as August, and featuring Judeline Charles as Donna, and Rashad Davis as Chanel, is as riveting and poignant, as it is deep and intriguing! Not only does 'Cheetah in August' show and 'dive into' real and true-to-life everyday issues with its main characters, such as regular, everyday relations, and the search for balance, love, etc. in every day life; but, furthermore, the show also discusses issues in each episode that are common to mainstream society, such as religion and religious views on sexuality, etc. creating a series and show that is both thought-provoking and riveting in nature - an interesting, exciting and captivating show!

Superb !

A Cheetah in August is a fascinating story that follows a man on his search for balance, normality, and love. His career path as well as his love life is a huge quandary that he struggles to solve through analyzing mistakes of his past as well as adhering to those who advise and mentor him. His story is a shining example of some of the challenges that people face in their relationships. When watching this, I couldn't help but feel connected to the characters as well as feel the passion emitting from their dialogue. I felt compelled to learn more about August and also to try to figure out why he made the decisions that he did throughout the story. I even got my friends in on some engaging topics pertaining to the episodes. It is an excellent series and is most definitely worth a watch!

I like Series which show journey of Characters. You can see how the character developed you can also see the reason for why he behaves in a particular way. This Cheetah in August Series focuses on gay community and the problems faced by them. The series try to touch the issues like religions, sexuality, psychology and love. How passion and emotions felt by character can be clearly seen. The issues shown in the series do proper justice and actually makes you think about them. I watched the whole series and started watching the second one. I have told all my friends about it and would want them to watch it. I watched first season again with my friends. Now we are watching the second season together. We totally feel that this second season is even better. I like the way the character of August has moved forward in life. The experience he gets really teach you so much. When season two will be over I would really be sad, as I will have to wait one more year for third Season. This story of Cheetah in August which stars Andre Myers as August is really riveting. The story is very nicely written and very well directed. The story does not touch shallow ares of life, But it actually tackles the real issue faced by people. The show is about relationship and how they affect us. How people behave differently in different situation. The show touches upon the issue faced by gay people which we normally don't get to see ourselves. The story shows us the dilemma faced by the character. The show also touches upon topic like sexuality and religions which people hardly talked about in public. This was people get exposed to the real issues faced by people. The second season pick up where first season left. The second season is progressing nicely. I have watched till sixth episode and I am still loving it. Would love to watch this series continuing even further.

Gripping One
modimodayo23 November 2016
This TV series is really gripping. I have watched the most of episodes. It tells story of high school athlete. The story focuses on LGBT community. The show touches ethnic subject very nicely. The story shows the trouble faces by the community. The story progresses smoothly and each episode of the series ends at an anger level which makes you eagerly watch the next episode. The characters are developed systematically and you can feel their emotions. The actors have put in their heart while acting. When Andre Myers is on screen, the audience can relate to him. The film definitely touches the issues which are not discussed and are avoided society. The director shows the life path of August right from the high school to his growing up as adult. The series beautifully captures the problem faced by gay community. Now I am eagerly awaiting the next episode of Cheetah in August.
