Very well produced positive documentary
yooper3522 October 2015
Saw this film at the Made-in-Michigan Film Fest in Frankenmuth, Michigan. A well produced positive look at how many businesses are working to bring their products to the market place by using new ideas and brands to stimulate Michigan's decaying economy. Touches on the many new craft beer businesses popping up all over Michigan, urban farming, art fairs and alternative energy in windmills and hybrid cars. Also follows a solar car that some University of Michigan students built and took all the way to Australia to compete in a yearly contest there, unable to win but did finish where many others had to drop out. Being a Yooper I would have liked to have seen more being done in the Upper Peninsula but I do know there are some controversial windmills on the Garden Peninsula. All in all the film made me Michigan proud.
