- Rosemary Reed, a fascinating 35 year old woman, reaches the house of a retired notary, Dr. Felton, who is affected by a mysterious disease. The woman is greeted by Ms. Gloria, the nurse who takes care of the old man. When Rosemary reveals herself and her true intentions, the terrifying dread begins.
Rosemary's investigations will bring her to believe that the disappearance of the man's daughter Celeste actually hides a terrible massacre. Dr. Felton and his wife, Arianna, could be the only ones to know the truth, including the secret behind Celeste's real identity and a fanatic cult of cloistered nuns in red.
Disguised as a thriller- horror game, "Remothered: Tormented Fathers" further analyzes the theory by Immanuel Kant regarding the memory as "the ability to be present in the past", just like what said by John Locke and Thomas Hobbes, and the conflict between consciousness and memory. The elusive memory as the core of events whose strong dramatic component faces abandonment, psychiatric pathologies, psychological abuses and which reports the strict contrast between faith (church) and science (medicine) and when these turn into extreme fanaticism by rebelling against the same human race, who takes advantage of it by servilely submitting to dogmas and mannerisms. It is therefore necessary to tickle people's minds, to give them non-stereotypical stories, this imperative becomes even more important in a scenario like dramas, or stories that lead to psychological horror, in which games and films influence each other and often the tribute can lead to plagiarism. The goal is not only to stand out from the others, but also to remain faithful to a more concrete idea of fear and threat: the same human race and do it with a ruthlessly human and intimate touch.
