A turkey stuffed with a lemon.
rps-220 July 2016
It starts out misleadingly well and offers a few nail biting moments. But the surprise ending is really no surprise at all, just the product of some no talent writer with a creative deficit. It also is a totally absurd and blatantly dishonest ending. It would be so nice if the hacks who grind out these Canadian crappers, probably Y&R rejects, had some original ideas. This is just a slight twist on a standard plot that has been used endless times. And of course it is another of these outrageous "made in Canada but set in the US" films, subsidized by the Canadian taxpayer. I believe it was shot in Vancouver. (IMDB does not list the shooting location) Again Vancouver is a surrogate for Seattle. Our movie policy may make work for a lot of second-rate Canadian actors, techhies and such.(The good ones have gone to Hollywood.) But how can they possibly take pride in being part of the "Canadian" film industry when the industry itself has no pride in Canada

Warning: Spoilers
At first, I thought I was back in the famous shower scene of Psycho. A woman steps out of the shower only to be shot to death in a dark area of her home.

We then fast forward to 2 years later and it appears as if that scene had nothing to do with what we were about to see.

A young woman is married to a guy with a daughter. His former wife is wealthy and recently released from a mental institution. She wants the child back.

You would think that the first wife had something to do with the situation when wife #2 begins receiving photographs of her. We have an assortment of possible people doing this. An amorous female neighbor, a secretary to the woman and even a supposed substitute mail carrier who really isn't a mail person.

#2'w life starts to come apart when these photographs and other weird happenings increase. It costs her her job. The hint here was that she really wasn't dismayed about losing her position.

The ending is a real shocker. Wait until you see who #2 really was. It's all too much to fathom. Connection here is the problem. Thinks really don't make much sense until the very end of this very dark drama.

Don't waste your time

The plot twist at the end is not good. The acting and performance was very cold. Nothing is real. The story itself is weak.

Don't waste your time

Warning: Spoilers
So throughout this flick it was sorta engaging. Taking things at face value you were trying to figure out who the killer/stalker was. I tried to downplay the nonsensical behavior of the victims because it IS a Lifetime movie and none of the characters in these flicks ever seem to do the right thing. Some times I like it so I can be glad if a character gets knocked off because of their own stupidity.

The ending is completely absurd. I felt my intelligence was assaulted. I suppose I was glad to understand why the lead was being such a dumbass, but then really, if you are a professional hitwoman WHY would you even let your fake husband think you are being stalked. She'd have known someone is on her tail and kept quiet about it all while trying to figure out who is stalking her. Or at least a smart professional hitwoman would do that I think. So looking back I'm perplexed and mad that I spent all that time just to accept stupidity by the characters only to find it made little sense in the end.

When the plot twist was revealed it still made no sense. A pro hitwoman with three people in the room with her and she's constantly turning her backs on them... hmm, I wonder what's going to happen next... Why she didn't just shoot all of them dead, get her things, then torch the place and let the time it would take to identify the charred remains to relocate is beyond me.

In the end, this movie made no sense. A plot twist is great but this was a totally different movie in the last five minutes. It wasn't like "Oh how interesting!" but just a yawn.

And that girl with her dolls and kicking the table like that? So annoying.

I would implore anyone NOT to view this unless you want to feel like you REALLY just wasted two hours of your life. Yes it's a Lifetime movie and you usually are just wasting your time to begin with. But usually you can laugh at how dumb it is, the acting, dialogue. This could have been engaging at least. A better ending would have like I said above. The hitwoman should have gotten away and leave open a possible sequel. Or not. But this was just a wreck and a waste.

Meh...! It's a movie.
jayfield-018949 February 2021
Very unrealistic situations. Characters doing all the wrong things like, (we have a stalker threatening us. Do we call the police? No, let's deal with it ourselves.) A plot that's honestly been played to death. You can guess the bad guy the first time they're introduced. Completely predictable with an ending twist that's almost hilarious because it was too obvious where it was headed. Actors that look like they're acting and can't feel the characters they're supposed to be playing. No surprises, just drama for dramas sake.

not great, but not bad either
jwayne_2418 April 2015
Annalynne McCord is a very attractive woman who plays a very loving wife and stepmother.

Her life is turned upside down by blackmail and some threatening photographs that leave her and her husband wondering who is after them.

There are a lot of good twists and an unexpected ending.

This movie wasn't a classic by any stretch but it was a good way to spend and hour and a half.

The one thing that could have made it better was a more menacing subplot but hey i still recommend it.

For a Lifetime movie its not a bad one at all.

Not Bad for the LMN Except for...
dttruman19 April 2020
This is one of the better LMN movies, because it has a decent story line with a nice plot twist in it. McCord plays a good part as a supposed stalking victim in a usual standard LMN movie. Where it loses me is the husband character, who's daughter is being threatened but he couldn't sufficiently protect her. It followed the LMN theme of, "It takes a woman".

Meet the Millers!
lavatch3 April 2020
Warning: Spoilers
"Watch Your Back" (a.k.a., "Killer Photo") is a crackling good yarn. A high-tech assassin is on the loose using sophisticated a photo surveillance operation to harass Sarah Goodall Miller, who has recently married an unemployed writer, Kurt Miller. The Millers seem like the perfect family with the chemistry between Sarah and Kurt and his adorable daughter Teri. But, appearances may be deceiving!

The plot thickens when the Millers appear to be targeted for an assassination. Nearly all of the characters are suspicious in some way, including Sarah's obnoxious, flirty co-worker Jackson, her overly officious assistant Julie, and the neighbor Louise, who is infatuated with Kurt. Behind the scenes, the mastermind of the assassinations is killed in a police shootout, leaving Sarah on her own to set things right.

There is excellent suspense built, and the filmmakers keep the audience guessing as to who is the villain of the piece. The final ten minutes offer the granddaddy of all plot twists, as the rug is pulled out from under the audience. The actress playing Sarah was terrific and very credible with the delicate character transformation she had to achieve at the end.

The surprises come in a fast and furious manner in the thrilling ending! The best advice possible for film viewers is to watch your back!

Ho Hum

Another blonde bimbo as the menace in this trashy film. She overacts, as only bimbos can do and spends more time playing with her hair than acting. Maybe she thinks hair has something to do with talent? No. Not in this case. It's just damn annoying. Also hard to believe that any man could take her abusive attacks. Biggest thrill was when another woman finally wasted her for good.

These friggin leading ladies on LMN, except for a few are all the same thing. Bleached blonde and push up bras. Somewhat wide butts and boring as hell watching them prance around the set.

Let's get more Julliane Moore and Gene Rowland and Josie Davis. Actresses who can act.

Same plot, but wrong twist
halloweenh273 July 2020
Warning: Spoilers
It's the same plot we have seen over and over. Woman being stalked by someone taking her photo, but this time there's a twist...but a bad twist. She's the villain. This ending revelation does not add up with the rest of the movie. Poorly executed. Everyone's acting is horrible, as with every post 2015 LMN Movie. Reel One Entertainment/Blue Sky Productions are an embarrassment to the film industry and are making a mockery out of LMN. The network has become a joke because of this production comany.

Warning: Spoilers
This movie put me through all of the emotions 😂 I was on the edge of my seat! Good plot twist! Very unexpected.

I thought it was going to be like all of the other stalker movies. And the entire time I pointed a finger at all of the side characters, so the ending came as a big surprise. Im glad no one else got hurt in the end, especially the little girl or the dad. I hope he marries the assistant!

winkust29 May 2020
This was an entertaining watch about a women who starts receiving threatening photos from a stalker, who is it and what are their motivations ? There were some nice twists in the story and you are always trying to guess who the stalker could be, there is the odd red herring thown in to keep the audience on their toes, a worthwhile watch and above average made for tv movie

That was mean

They really was not a review of the movie. The person who wrote this obviously is jealous or something of the actress. What you wrote was just playing cruel, not interesting, off topic And in my opinion a waste of time. I will watch the movie later myself and put in a review.
