The first time Max was in the arctic region (The Thrill of the Hunt), his Steel Suit kept him comfortable, but in this episode he very much feels the cold due to the script requiring him to sneeze from a temperature induced cold, thereby attracting sound-triggered defenses. A burp or a fart or the sniffles (or some other can't-be-helped sound) would have kept the rules of the Max Steel universe intact.
Max refers to his uncle, Commander Forge Ferrus, as "Uncle Ferrus" while Steel calls him "Forge." This etiquette is all backwards. Max should be calling his uncle "Uncle Forge," as would others call their parents' male siblings "Uncle Joe" or "Uncle Mike" or "Uncle John" or such. Steel uses a shortened way of referencing the commander, dropping the rank and getting to the surname. No one would call someone "Command Joe" or Command Mike." It would be "Commander Johnson" or Commander Smith." Steel should have properly called him by his last name, "Ferrus," especially as their relationship is official rather than personal.
N-Tek exhibits poor judgment in throwing Max a surprise party during school hours, reeling him in through an emergency signal. It's a misuse of the emergency signal and needlessly risks Max being identified at school as Max Steel.
At one point, Max goes TURBO Strength Mode without Steel, heretofore not possible.
Forge says he was monitoring Max' progress through the automated N-Tek base, controlling all the defenses. That means he not only stood by as Max got shot at and barely escaped getting crushed by the descending ceiling, Forge made sure they happened. Later he dittos a sentiment that he'd rather die than see Max get hurt. His actions don't support his statement.
Max frets over getting court-martialed - but he's a civilian. He never swore into any military organization - neither N-Tek nor any of the armed forces. (As N-Tek is a secret organization without any clear ties to the government, it may not even have a court-martialing system.)
