A 15 minute documentary following two performers of a struggling independent wrestling promotion. We explore the impact that their vocation has on their personal lives, and the psychology behind why audiences are drawn to this pseudo-bloodsport. Bodies will crash, hearts will break, and children will smile. The characters are iconic, yet real: Nizar,the Muslim immigrant that wants to integrate, and the rural redneck that wants to cut loose, These are real people with real emotions. There is a clear story with a clear objective. Three iconic characters will compete in a match for a title. One will win. Nizar's father will overcome his distaste for what he sees as an embarrassing and racist portrayal of his culture and come to see his son perform.
