- A tale of buried treasure in old Savannah Clues unlocked by rival sisters A race to unearth the wealth of a city
- While working at the Historical Society, a young woman discovers that an historic home in Savannah has treasure buried in its cellar. She attempts to convince her partner to purchase the home in order to secure the treasure. In a flashback scene during the Civil War, an ex-slave named Jupiter, reveals the location of the treasure to General Sherman's aide in exchange for money and safe passage north.
Nadine's' conservative sister, Heidi, and her husband Stephen discuss Nadine's intention to buy a house.
Heidi visits her spiritual adviser, Minerva. The scene takes a dramatic turn when Minerva reveals that she has had a visit from Nadine. Heidi enters Minervas trance, and is introduced to Jupiter. Jupiter tells Heidi about the treasure.
Heidi convinces Stephen to tour the home Nadine is attempting to buy. Heidi declares she wants the house, and reveals the treasure story to Stephen, who goes ballistic, promising to prove Minerva is a charlatan.
Stephen visits the Historical society in order to prove Minerva wrong, instead, discovering the information about Jupiter and the treasure is true. Additional information regarding the house radically changes the course of the story.
Stephen reveals to Heidi all that he has found out at the library . Stephen and Heidi conclude that the treasure is NOT under the house, because the house has been moved. The treasure is still in its original location!
In a second visit to Minerva, Heidi excitedly provides her with the location of the treasure.
Heidi and Stephen attempt to dig up the treasure, but discover that it has already been found.
In a final flashback scene, Jupiter explains to his attorney, an oral historian, that he intends to come back from the dead and reveal the location of the treasure to his descendants.
Heidi concludes that justice has been served in that Minerva, Jupiter's heir, has found the treasure, likely starting a new life in another town.
