At the beginning when Mike was walking to see his wife at the airport there was no scar on his face, but at the end of the film, the scar was visible on his face.
When Mike tries to drink his own urine from the hydration bag and sees a girl coming towards him, he removes the nozzle of the hose from his mouth, but in the next shot he has it inside again.
Snipers all carry a map, and a compass. just because the GPS broke, does not mean they have no idea where they are. they would be able to triangulate their position.
At the start of the movie you see that there is a glint off the light off the scope of the sniper rifle. The scope has a sun shade installed making a glint off the glass almost impossible.
The sniper rifle is seen equipped with a Sound Suppressor when the sniper shoots at the embankment to create a diversion. A sound suppressor doesn't make a gun silent as seen in the movie. It would still easily be heard by the terrorists at the distance shown.
The radio used in the movie was the Yaesu ft817nd and not the commonly used Harris falcon mark III man-pack. The radio can't be charged from the cell phone solar charger at 5V nor does it have a USB input.
The power switch does not illuminate nor act as a charge indicator (red charging/green charged).
This radio does not transmit on the frequency displayed later in the movie when he calls the rescue team.
Displayed is in the WFM broadcast band.
Land mines tend to detonate when they are stepped on, not when they are released. Both marines should be dead or maimed about 22 minutes into the film.
Both Marines are carrying metal canteens, which haven't been carried by U.S. troops for a half century. Even the fact that they're using canteens is an anachronism, because most troops used Camelbaks instead -- and the clear plastic drinking tube for the spotter's Camelbak is clearly visible on his left shoulder.
The Berber explains that he lost his leg to a mine, but that it ended up being lucky for him because it allowed him to meet his wife, who was nurse in the hospital where he was taken. But, he later says that he lost his daughter in the same accident that took his leg. Unless his daughter was from a previous mother, this would not be chronologically possible.
