When Brodie and Medina are eating ice cream in the park, her socks change length. Throughout the beginning of the scene until the last shot, her socks rise up over her knees: in the final shot of the scene, in which David is spying on them from his car, her socks are shown as being calf-length.
In the extra scene after the credits when Brodie and Zakk are talking about life after death and new band names, the spinning record changes rotational direction with each camera angle.
At one point, a chainsaw is seen lying on the floor, running by itself. Chainsaws have a safety button and a trigger, both of which much be applied for the machine to operate.
Brodie is shown without his shirt two months after Zakk gores him in the belly yet he has no scar.
When first shown in the garage, Dion offers no assistance to translate the Latin name of the song which Brodie later painstakingly has to translate word by word using a dictionary in class. However, much later in Rikki's shack he is swift to correct the pronunciation of the Latin spoken there, so clearly is both fluent, and keen to show off.
