disgusting but what else?

The title already made me sceptical by using a number for a word - reminded me of imbecile online speak like "2bad4me" and alike. reading the reviews i decided to give it a shot.

now this flick will frustrate both extremes of horror aficionados: gorehounds will be mostly bored, and people rooting for gothic subtle horror will be disgusted. stories themselves aren't that bad, if maybe a bit too slow and calm, but offering 2 or 3 minor "wtf"-moments.

if i had to rate the stories for themselves, the last one would definitely win. depictions of hell are usually a tremendous risk even for high budget productions - just think of the CGI disaster in "Constantine" back then- , but the offered imagery doesn't have to hide. so if you are in the mood for 4 downtempo creeping flicks with some sickness here and there, go for it but don't expect too much

Creative Horror Genius

First off the acting is not stellar but it really does not matter as its the artistic element that overrides everything else in this horro-fable; filmed like some sort of demented dream sequence only Stephen King could have imagined in his worst nightmares.

There are a lot of words that can describe this - grotesque, absurd, bizarre, eerie, fanciful, fantastic, ludicrous, monstrous, odd, outlandish, preposterous, ridiculous, strange, surrealistic, whimsical, aberrant, antic, extreme, mad, flamboyant, gross, queer, weird, anomalous, abnormal, deformed, distorted, extravagant, freakish, grody, incongruous....

But i prefer Inventive, creative, artistic genius!

Prosthetic old school latex effects Stan Winston / Rob Bottin style - John Carpenter would be proud - If the wormboy does not get to you the electroboy will - pure artistic horror genius - truly nightmare of a damaged brain!!!

I think I just had my horror mind blown!!!

Gross.. Not Particularly Engrossing

If you like your horror gross, disgusting, slimy rotten, grotesque, sickening, vomit inducing with flashes of rotten, stinking corpses, rotting teeth, blood, guts, sweat, gore, blood, guts, stringy hair, deformed bodies, freaks, and stories that make no sense, then this is for you.

At least the effects are mostly practical.

Unknown actors. Subpar acting. Preteen boys will love it.

The third episode is the best one. It was mysterious and enchanting, haunting even. That one really stuck with me. Made me think and made me up my change my 4 stars to 7 stars.

Unusual and entertaining

I caught this on Amazon Prime. Very weird tales with interesting imagery. Nice to see something a bit different than the usual stuff coming out of Hollywood. I hope they make more like this.

The acting was a bit unpolished but the stories were good and held my interest until the end. The special effects were GREAT! Amazing job on that. It really added a great deal.
