Along the Thai-Burma border, there are communities in Thailand that refugee and vulnerable children live that most people in the Western world couldn't begin to fathom. They raise money by scavenging the dump for recyclables to sell or work in the factories and markets. They go to school with the hope of finding a way out. Angel McNamara takes the journey to Mae Sot, Thailand to teach students at one of the refugee schools the basics of stop-motion animation. The students will be able to learn the basics of film-making and learn the skills that they most likely would never have a chance to learn. Why should these vulnerable children learn stop-motion animation? Through Angel's journey the importance of a programme like this are revealed.
