Carice van Houten in Game of Thrones (2011)

Goofs

The Red Woman

Game of Thrones

Edit

Continuity

The Bolton men who track Sansa and Theon are four riders and two men with dogs, total of six. Brienne kills three riders, Pod the fourth and Theon kills one of the other two - total of five. The last man disappears, along with the dogs.
Immediately after crossing the river, Sansa's dress and overcoat appear dry when she is hiding by the tree.

Factual errors

The graffiti on the walls of Meereen is written in the Common Tongue of Westeros, despite the fact the Meereenese speak Valyrian.

Incorrectly regarded as goofs

No explanation is given how Theon and Sansa survived the jump from the wall without any injuries. Actually, the deep snow that breaks their fall is clearly shown in the shot right before they jump.
In Mockingbird (2014), Melissandre took a bath without her necklace while talking to Selyse. It is thought that by removing the necklace reveals her aged body, she should have turned old in that scene, but has not changed at all. However, we do not know the extent of her powers with or without the necklace. The power of the necklace may be to assist her by not expending energy to appear young; removing it and not choosing to expend energy - she then reverts to her natural appearance.
When Jon's dead open eyes are being closed, his fingers move at the end of the shot. Although it looks like that at first glance, the hand with the moving fingers belongs Eddison Tollett. He rests his hand on Jon. Jon's both arms are lying at his sides, as is obvious from the other shots.

Plot holes

In the former episode Mother's Mercy (2015), Obara and Nymeria did not go on the ship with Myrcella, Trystane and Jaime - they were shown waiting on the shore as the ship departed. No explanation is given to their presence at the ship.

Character error

In the letter Doran receives, the word "nieces" is misspelled "neices."
Cersei tells Jaime that everything Maggy the witch said came true. Actually, Maggy told Cersei that all her children would die, but at this point Tommen is still alive.
