Winner, 2013 Somerville Community Access TV award for best non-fiction short. The McGrath highway overpass in Somerville, MA is an outdated, dangerous relic of the past. When the state highway agency decided to rebuild it at a cost of tens of millions, local advocates got involved. This is the story of how they earned credibility with the state and other groups, raised community awareness, and won a better solution through cooperation, not confrontation. Produced by LivableStreets Alliance volunteers Dan Reiner and Paul Sohn.
