Kurt, an astute district attorney, is plagued with grief by his wife's recent murder. Grant, his older brother, tries to help him move on but Kurt cannot let go. He secretly and obsessively searches for the unknown killer. There are no traces or suspects until Kurt discovers a piece of evidence that was overlooked. He must decide to either use this evidence to bring about justice or to personally exact his revenge.
