One of Chin Ho and Jerry's high school classmates is killed during their class reunion, and McGarrett and Danny find a new clue at the secret burial site.

Chin goes to his 25th high school reunion. While there a woman whom he hasn't seen in 25 years is killed when someone was chasing her and threw her down some stairs. Steve and Danny go to Cambodia to check the lead he learned about his family and finds practically nothing so he goes back to Hawaii and helps Chin with the investigation. They learn the woman brought nearly 200 k with her, but she didn't have it on her. They learn she used the money to pay a woman's hospital bills. They talk to the woman and she says she doesn't know her. But they find a photo of her with the woman's son who disappeared 25 years ago. Steve and Danny find the grave at the Cambodian coordinates empty and return, but Steve pressures CIA Agent Sam Connors to help him along with the Shelbourn(e) mystery. Meanwhile Chin and Jerry attend their 25yh class reunion, which is to open their time capsules, but are just too late to prevent a woman crying murder fall to her death. It's class outsider Sarah Richmond, who returned from the mainland for the first time, having made a fortune, and recently withdrew nearly $200,000 to pay a clueless crone's hospital bill, but failed to visit her brother Bradley and his wife.
