Summaries

  • When you are all alone in a small dark room, what do you fear the most? Is it the temporary blindness or is it the uneasy deep feeling that someone, or rather something, is observing your every move?
  • When you are all alone in a small dark room without a single beam of light to pierce through the palpable blackness, what do you fear the most? Is it the temporary blindness that sends shivers down your spine or does a more crippling and maddening fear possess you, stemming from an uneasy deep feeling that someone, or rather something, is observing your every move? But no, it surely can't be the latter; after all, monsters don't exist.—Nick Riganas

Synopsis

  • The short begins with a shot of the bchorrorchallenge. It's a very rainy night and inside an apartment, a woman walks down the hallway and turns off the light. When she does, she thinks she sees someone or something standing on the other side of the hall. She flicks the lights on and off, until eventually the thing gets closer, making her jump, as eerie music plays. Creeped out by this, the woman gets out duct tape and tapes up the light switch, before getting into bed. She tries to get to sleep, but wakes up as she can hear footsteps coming down the hall. She looks at the bedroom door, into the hallway as the light goes out. The footsteps outside the door, get louder and faster and she begins to get really scared and ducks under her bed covers to hide. After a while of silence, she takes a peak and sees that her bedroom door is now completely wide open and she immediately goes back under the covers and starts to cry in fear. The woman's bedside lamp begins to flicker. She notices this, so she takes a quick peak at the cable on the floor, before reaching for the plug. Eventually, she succeeds in neutralizing the flashing and gets back under the covers. The woman thinks she hears the light come back on, so she gets up to take a look. Everything is back to normal out in the hallway, but the woman looks around her bedroom, before suddenly quickly looking across the room to see a monster of sorts, tap down on her lamp switch, turning off the lamp, plunging the room into complete darkness.
