¿Sabías que...?
- CuriosidadesThe title "A Fox, a Rabbit, and a Cabbage" is an old riddle which FBI Agent Pepper (Keegan-Michael Key) asks FBI Agent Budge (Jordan Peele) in the FBI file room. The riddle involves a man in possession of a fox, a rabbit, and a cabbage, trying to get them all across the river in a boat. The man can only take one object at a time, and the fox will eat the rabbit if left alone, the rabbit doing the same with the cabbage. The answer is to take the rabbit so the fox will not eat the cabbage, go back and take the cabbage, taking the rabbit back so it will not eat the cabbage, then swapping it for the fox, then finally going back for the rabbit.
- PifiasIt seems implausible that Lou Solverson had never seen the photos of Lorne Malvo in the year before he showed up in his coffee shop. Molly was obsessed with the case, and her diagram of the crimes at home and at her office both included the photos of him, including the clear headshot of him posing as preacher Frank Peterson. It seems very likely that Molly would have consulted with him on the case, especially considering that one of the reasons Gus apparently lost his job was over his supposed wrongful arrest of Frank Peterson aka Malvo.
Plausibility aside, he may or may not have seen the photos of Frank Peterson - which would be of a timid looking man wearing glasses with different color and style of hair and whiskers. Recognition is not a given.

Fargo: S1E9 "A Fox, a Rabbit, and a Cabbage" Review - King Cadmium
Lester has an unexpected encounter, Malvo changes course, and a new investigation leads Molly down a familiar path.
What I Liked:
The cinematography is solid, and each scene perfectly implements its beautiful and mesmerizing music score. On top of that, each actor gives a strong performance, with Billy Bob Thornton and Martin Freeman being the clear standouts.
Malvo is one of the most intriguing individuals you will see on television, with Thornton's portrayal being nothing short of superb, along with Freeman's portrayal of Lester.
Lester's transformation sees him become arguably the most interesting character on this show, even more so than Malvo. His actions in this penultimate episode see him reach the point of no return, causing multiple deaths and even sending his wife to her death.
What I Disliked:
It was odd that Lou didn't think to inform Molly about the man who had just been inquiring about Lester, the man she had been investigating for the past year. He knows that she has had her sights on him for a long time, so it made no sense that he wouldn't at least mention it to her.
Overall:
Fargo delivers a fantastic, near-perfect penultimate episode. With only one episode to go, one can only surmise how this tautly written and enthralling season will conclude.
