So much for the Mocking Bird plot, that exonerates Tom Robinson right in the middle. You really couldn't make it up. This movie could have been a 5-6, if it had just kept to the Liam Neeson, "find and kill you" model, but it had to try some adolescent-minded virtue-signalling stuff instead. You got woke - but now you need to repay the bloke - right?

The action part is abscent, the actor is kinda slow for some gun fight, some the scenes are a bit less blvble than average, he lost his daughter, so you expect more feelings, but it was an eazy case and the was no thrill it's like i was skipping scenes from the movoe, i wished they gave his best friend more camera and the dectitive her performance was the best and also she is hot.
the whole movie ruined for one important reason!

Which bleep bleep bleep's idea was it for the background music to almost drown out the dialogue? Seriously, a decent movie with a decent average plot was completely ruined because of the sound mixing! Mr. Bagdasarian, as a fellow Armenian compatriate I suggest you go to Mr. Atom Egoyan and learn a thing or two about movie making. It's not all just lights, camera and action, and cut all the time!!!!

What can I say about this movie??? It was just awful. Bad acting, no plot, no action just truly awful. It reminded me of a porno without the sex. All you had to do was replace the gun fights with sex scenes. Not sure how or why this got made but what a waste of time & resources.

One action fight scene just cuts out in the middle, no idea what happened, or how it ended. The next scene has absolutely nothing to do with it. Just the way this movie rolls with scenes that have no connection to each other. Most of this movie does not make any sense.
It starts somewhere in the Middle East, when a couple of Hum-Vees are attacked. The next scene is eight years later, and nothing is explained as to who got killed or injured in the first scene. Apparently the characters eight years later are the same one from the Middle East? No way to know, just guessing.
David Joseph is the lead actor, and he is beyond horrible. His daughter was kidnapped. Unlike Liam Neeson in Taken (and the sequels); David Joseph has no plan, and he is the dumbest character in this movie. AT the end of this movie he comes up with a motorcycle gang to attack a limousine, and it is the worst action gun-fight scene in the history of cinema. It is not even funny, just tragic.
The rest of the cast looks as confused as the audience. Nobody has any continuity as to what they are doing. It is almost as if this movie was filmed as several short subject movies, and then edited together to make one movie.

2020's Abducted is my latest review. And no, it has nothing to do with that Taylor Lautner movie from nine years ago. This flick stars a different Taylor in Scout Taylor-Compton. Taylor-Compton plays a detective who likes Ramen bowls, likes having an attitude, and likes a little kickboxing.
Released in SHOWTIME via March of this year and containing a musical score that's as brisk as Abducted itself, Abducted is directed by a guy named Prince (that would be Prince Bagdasarian). Bagdasarian fashions Abducted as a combination of Taken and an episode of Law & Order. Cops, a vigilante, and a handicapped, deaf soldier get involved as fierce protagonists.
Along with Scout Taylor-Compton, Abducted stars lesser-known actors in Daniel Josev, Najarra Townsend, and Michael Urie. They all do a decent job whereas the bit players come off as a little stiff. Basically, Abducted keeps you guessing till the end and it's not as revenge-minded as you might think. The kidnappers don't necessarily die, they just get some wounds and a good old fashioned threat (spoiler).
With a working title of Diverted Eden and distributed by Artist View Entertainment, Abducted is just what it says it is: A war hero whose wife dies of cancer, takes the law into his own hands when his 7-year-old daughter is "abducted" from him. Dana Hunte (played by Daniel Josev) is said war hero. Dana thinks the police force is taking too long so he weapons up, dons a bulletproof vest, and investigates incognito.
Bottom line: Just imagine Charles Bronson, Bruce Willis, and Liam Neeson being a little nicer in their dispatcher methods and that's what you get with Abducted. With a red herring here and some absurdness there, the film is good for a decent rental considering that staying away from the theater is our only option these days. Rating: 2 and a half stars.

Been awhile since I saw a movie where so many bullets missed their target. Even though there were close and you had a gazillion guns and bullets. What kind of SWAT team goes in and says all clear without checking all the spaces? This was more of a comedy.

Nothing special to see in this movie except typical action and bit of mystery. Although some characters look like they had more potential than they shown, they did not put it into use. Bit too twisted and not connected story with holes. For example although in beginning we see war and soldiers, later they have nothing to do with the movie, no story or association with them in any way. Just some random bit boring story that definitely could be better, especially if story went in some flow, instead of being to typical, random, twisted. Bit emotional but even that part is explained in sudden manner, too quick and not related to story that much.

If I could give this disaster negative numbers i would. I stopped it with an hour to go. Absolutely horrible. Some of the worst acting ive ever had the displeasure to witness. Should never have bern made its that bad.

Plot goes off in weird directions more than once. Acting overall is mediocre. Fell asleep first night watching it. Why I finished it the second night I have no idea. Completely incongruous plot that I could have done a better job putting screen play together. Don't waste your time.

I love how some people watch these types of action flicks and expect a dramatic arthouse film. i'm a fan of action flicks like this, and this was wayyyy cooler than many ive seen lately. whats cool is that with all the crazy action sequences, the films story does not take a backseat and become a secondary thing. refreshing to see an action film done right with an actually good plot

This movie would have been decent. It would have been pretty good if you could hear what they were saying. The background music went on through the ENTIRE MOVIE and was so overpowering you couldn't hear the dialog. Which completely ruined the movie for me.
Confusing, really bad acting, plot lines run amuck.

Nothing really ties this film together. Excellent production, camera work and audio top notch. I kept watching because it looked like a very well done movie, but never lived up to the look. Lead actor had one flat expression for every scene, music was unbearable at times, a car flips over with a few gunshots, a gang of motorcyclists magically appears for the final scene, a character gets stabbed in the abdomen and is taken in for interrogation, the gash in his stomach is suddenly not a problem, the lead character chases someone down a dark alley and is surrounded by a menacing gang, which abruptly cuts to the next scene and poof! the gang is gone. Maybe he befriended them and they all got motorcycles to help him out in the closing scene.
Boring kidnap drama but in real way investigation.

Having lot of scope of action and thrill in a kidnapping plot we feel boring mostly here. Gay couple is another obstacle in story. Only detective lady role is impressively played by Scout Taylor Compton can makes us to watch movie. Other wise it would be totally garbage.

I've seen worse movies. This one is not a punch in the face but it's till not worth the time.
The plot and the scripting are pretty plain and the editing is very poor. Some situations are simply defying physics laws and don't make any sense. The action scenes are not believable. They look fake all along.
The acting, generally, is not great but also not terrible, as other reviewers mentioned, with the exception of Daniel Joseph who may be bringing one of the worst performances you can find. His character has had his daughter kidnapped and he is absolutely inexpressive throughout the whole movie. At one point he is supposed to be crying and all he does is basically hide his face. You can't tell if he is crazy happy or outrageously angry.
I've seen worse and this is not a 1 start movie, but there's tons of better movies out there to pick before this one.
