- With Darby finally out, Harvey and Jessica look at bringing Scottie into the firm. Louis tries to figure out how Mike got into the firm without a Harvard file.

- Opens with Mike and Rachel in his apartment. They start talking about what to keep from his furniture and she tells him she wants them to move in together.
Harvey and Scottie wake up together. They talk about trying to figure out her future. He's offered a job at the firm.
Harvey and Jessica talk about Scottie. Jessica worries about the fact they are in a relationship.
Mike tells Harvey he wants to handle the Foreman case. Their client is being advised to settle only because it can afford it. He wants to try and get the case dismissed because the opposing counsel is Rinaldi, the man who got his grandmother to settle after his parents were killed. Harvey approves his request.
Louis continues to try and figure out why Mike's file wasn't in Sheila's file room. He considers the possibility that Mike never went to Harvard.
Jessica talks with Scottie about joining the firm. Scottie suggests an interest in joining as a partner. Jessica says the name of the firm has changed too many times recently but could possibly change down the road. Scottie's loyalty to Harvey is obvious, but Jessica wants to know what Scottie's loyalty will be to her.
Scottie tells Harvey she doesn't like having to pay a "Harvey Spector girlfriend tax" (a half million buy-in before the standard six months). She doesn't know what their future will be and has other offers. Harvey thinks he can get the half million dollars waved.
Mike meets with Rinaldi, tells him his firm won't be settling, and presents a motion to dismiss.
Harvey shows up outside Mike's deposition, just to watch the fun of Mike killing Rinaldi.
Louis shows Donna he's found the interview list from the day Mike was hired. Mike's name isn't there. She explains that Mike took initiative and pretended to be another associate. This impressed Harvey. Louis tells her his theory (of Mike graduating from a sub-par law school) and about Sheila's file room. Donna has to cover. She tells him to call Harvard and ask for a transcript.
Harvey sits in on Mike's deposition with Rinaldi. It goes well until Mike starts flashing back to his grandmother settling. Harvey has to bail him out and it puts their client in a slightly worse position. Harvey gives Mike one more day before pulling the plug and settling.
Donna tells Harvey about Louis. He's not worried, but he learns Louis was in the Harvard file room due to his relationship with Sheila Sazs.
Rachel finds Mike hard at work trying to find something against Rinaldi. He tells her about his parents and how much it bothers him that Rinaldi put a price tag on their lives. She helps him.
To change Jessica's mind, Scottie plans to land a huge client, someone Harvey couldn't get. She meets with Michael Phelps and convinces him she can make him a ton of money. It seems to work.
In court Mike does an effective job of casting doubt on Rinaldi's expert witness. Afterwards he tells Mike it's not enough to force him to drop the case. Mike then pulls out a picture that shows the man in question drinking a toast at his daughter's wedding after the surgery in question. It doesn't really prove anything, but alcohol is strictly forbidden after that procedure and might be enough to get what Mike wants.
Louis shows Donna he's received Mike's transcript from Harvard. He's now thinking about whether he should tell Sheila what he found in the filing room. Drawing fake tears, Donna does a good job convincing him that Sheila would never forgive his breach of her trust when he went through her files.
Sheila drops by Louis' office and invites him to a hotel rendezvous. He's nervous, still conflicted about whether to tell her.
Rinaldi tells Mike he's doing the wrong thing. He then shows Mike a file that proves his father had two drinks the night he died. Rinaldi tells him it's the reason he was able to get his grandmother to settle.
Harvey tells Jessica that landing Phelps and Gillette got the firm more money than Scottie's buy-in, but Jessica's still worried about turnover and wants the commitment. Harvey has an idea.
Harvey initially has "issues" in bed and considers telling Scottie about Mike's file. She thinks it's a different reason and everything works out without him spilling the beans.
Harvey tells Scottie she no longer has to pay the buy-in. All she has to do is sign an iron-clad non-compete clause. She seems happy.
Mike tells Rachel about the revelation of his father. He says this has tainted his view of his father's sobriety when he was killed. She convinces him he's not like Rinaldi.
Louis apologizes to Donna for invading her computer files and says he'll never tell Sheila.
Mike meets with Rinaldi. He offers a compromise: He gives him the name of the company that makes the medicine that coated the stint. He also tells Rinaldi where to find the picture of his client drinking the champagne so he can remove it before that suit.
Scottie has figured out that the non-compete is a standard part of their contracts. Harvey has to admit that he paid the buy-in for her. She is furious, and an argument ensues. They talk about the need for honesty and lay all their cards on the table. For now at least, it seems to work out.
Rachel waits at home for Mike with candles. She wants them to celebrate the little things, just like his father did.
Louis looks through Mike's transcript privately. Amused at first, he spots something troubling.
Mike meets Rachel at his grandmother's apartment with a tape measure to deal with furniture negotiations. She has the room laid out to celebrate their first date.
Louis calls Simon into his office to confirm Harvard's Prof. Gerard's infamy at never giving a grade higher than an A. Mike's transcript shows he received an A+, giving Louis serious issues to consider.
