- DI Goodman and the team spend the night locked in a house with a murderer.
- Unpopular land developer Alexander Jackson is shot dead on his small privately-owned island and Goodman and his team sail over to investigate. Only his housekeeper Rosie, secretary Emily and three children Anna, Joseph and Terrance were present. Terrance inherits his father's business whilst aid worker Joseph opposed his father's ruthlessness and Anna felt he had no interest in her work as a painter. Then a storm blows up, stranding them all on the island with no phone or Internet connection. Joseph's gun is the apparent murder weapon but Goodman deduces that he was framed after the real killer had discovered that the victim was about to change his will.—don @ minifie-1
- Goodman and the team travel to a nearby island to investigate the death of Alexander Jackson who was found sitting on a bench with his shirt off. The dead man was shot in the chest and the only people on the island at the time of his death were his 3 children, his assistant and his housekeeper. The investigators find themselves trapped on the island after a violent storm makes their return to Sainte Marie impossible. Jackson's son Joe owns a pistol, the likely murder weapon, but he has an alibi. Another, Terrance, works in the family business, while daughter Anna is an artist. When they find only Joe's fingerprints on the gun, they are certain his alibi must have a hole in it but his assistant Emily is hiding a secret as well. In the end, it's the dead man's shirt that leads to the killer.—garykmcd
- Grim, mean land developer Alexander Jackson is fatally shot on the beach of his remote private Island, strangely shirtless. The apparent murder weapon has only the fingerprints of his maverick idealist son Joe , who has an alibi. The other son and business heir Terrance apparent risked being disinherited, their 'artist' sister Anna felt neglected. Alexander's trusted PA Emily Benoit's dark family secret provides an alternative motive. Humphrey's team is uneasy, locked with the suspects and the housekeeper by a storm preventing boat of tele-communication.—KGF Vissers
