About 43 minutes in Richard Jewell, in his bedroom, is on the phone speaking to attorney Watson Bryant regarding Bryant's assistance and possible representation on a book deal. A reflected circle of light from the filming crew passes over the chest, right arm of Paul Walter Hauser and then appears behind him on the wall over the headboard before exiting in the upper left hand corner of the shot. Tom Shaw: Mr Jewell, you said before that in your comings and goings back and forth from the stage to the tower that you couldn't get, uh, an exact fix on the time. Is that correct?
Richard Jewell: Yes, but when you have the runs, which I did, excuse me, you're not thinking about what time it is. You're just trying to crab-walk to a bathroom, you know?

The difference between a hero and a villain can be one libellous move - 8/10 ⭐
15 December 2019 | by pere-25366See all my reviews

Eastwood has done it again, adding yet another wonderful film to what is a beyond legendary filmography. Based on the real-life story of a heroic security guard turned villain during the '66 Centennial Olympic Park bombing, we see the horrifying extent to which the media can vilify an individual, especially one as kind-hearted as Richard Jewell. So many incredible performances but Paul Walter Hauser... man oh man... his portrayal of the titular man is as deeply affecting and human as anything I've seen this year. Incredible stuff!
