Andy Samberg and John Mulaney in Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers (2022)

Goofs

Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers

Edit

Continuity

Chip and Dale are in 3rd grade in 1982. But by 1990, they have struggled in Hollywood for a few months and done 3 full years on Rescue Rangers. But Chip's narration states they left for Hollywood after Graduation, which would have been in 1991 or 1992.
Lumière was upgraded to CGI in Beauty and the Beast (2017) 2017, yet is shown in his Beauty and the Beast (1991) 1991 format. This is mainly because his cameo was originally meant for Mulan character Mushu who was left out in the 2020 live-action movie.
At the wrap party, Chip talks about being together for 3 seasons, speaking like that translates to 3 years of working together (as is usual for TV shows). However, the original air dates on those 3 seasons only span about a year, with only 2 episodes going past the one year mark (September 1989 to November 1990).

Factual errors

The Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers cartoon did in fact air on TV in Albany on WXXA FOX 23.
Dale said he is missing the final POG from the Chip n' Dale show but what he was missing is called a slammer which is the heavy metal disk which was used to throw on the cardboard POGs so that they would turn over.
In the movie, Chip and Dale were kids in the 80s and started their careers in the 90s. This leaves out the fact that they got their start in the 1943 short Private Pluto.
Near the end they mention episode 3-25 aka(season 3 episode 25) there is NO 3-25(SEASON 3 ONLY has 5 episodes)

Revealing mistakes

In the old Disney cartoons with Chip and Dale including in Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers TV series, Chip and Dale talk in their high-pitched squeaky voices. But somehow, they have grown man voices. It would've been very difficult for them to speak low given that a chipmunk has a high-pitched sound.

Character error

Though Flounder's mouth was erased, he can be heard whimpering when he is changed around to get past copyright laws.
