A cooler-than-ever Bruce Wayne must deal with the usual suspects as they plan to rule Gotham City, while discovering that he has accidentally adopted a teenage orphan who wishes to become his sidekick.
Rex Dangervest (Chris Pratt) says he is a "galaxy defending archaeologist, cowboy, and raptor trainer". To which Emmet (also Chris Pratt) is confused. These are allusions to Chris Pratt's live-action past roles as Peter Quill/Star-Lord in Guardians of the Galaxy (2014), Josh Farady in The Magnificent Seven (2016), and Owen Grady in Jurassic World (2015). Here, the credits are written in front of smooth bricks that are surrounded, frame-wise, by the lock bumps, and scroll up after a certain amount of time with each background a different color. I got roped into seeing this with my friend and our kids, and I went in with a bad attitude prepared to hate it. I think I actually liked it more than the kids!! It's really funny, well written for the kids to enjoy but also a lot of adult jokes in there with a great cast. Really recommend.
