- A divorce case reveals a plastic surgeon's strange obsession with his past. Franklin (Breckin Meyer) and Bash (Mark-Paul Gosselaar) rely on an unusual argument to get Infeld's (Malcolm McDowell) law license reinstated.
- In order to get an extension on their office rent, Jared and Peter must secure tickets to a major baseball game. In order to do so, though, they have to jump through a series of bribery hoops, including a private dinner with top chef Sebastian for Karp, who has the tickets they need. Meanwhile, the duo also takes on the case of foxy Chelsea Beckman -Peter can't stop flirting with her- seeking a divorce from Dr. Nick Beckman, a plastic surgeon who just happens to be Franklin and Bash's office sublet tenant, and expects informal legal help, so they must spare both parties or reconcile them, as neither hates the other, while the judge refuses to admit a crucial photograph, lacking authentication. Meanwhile they seek to get Infeld's law license reinstated by claiming he's a sex addict who just needs therapy and deputize their intern to forestry court, which only works by blatant bluffing.—KGF Vissers
- We open with the guys waking up after a night of partying. They look over and find a nude Infeld doing some stretching in front of the window. He's back at the home that he technically owns and is taking the master bedroom. It seems like he's going to be there until they find a way to get his law license back, but he doesn't want them to involve Karp.
The guys win yet another case in unconventional fashion. Haskins is impressed with their style and chomping at the bit to work some cases. The threesome runs into Karp in the hall. He's just stolen one of their clients and tells Haskins she's picked the wrong employer.
Back at the office the guys spot their tenant plastic surgeon Dr. Beckmann speaking with their property manager. He doesn't know Beckman's been paying them rent under the table so they have to distract him.
Their newest client is a woman named Chelsea who is looking to divorce her rich husband. He's holding her up to a standard she doesn't feel she can live up to. She signed a prenuptial agreement and doesn't think she'll be able to get any money since her husband's been faithful. The guys are confident they'll find a way. But afterwards they see that she is Beckmann's wife. After Chelsea leaves Beckman takes the guys aside and says he's fine with them continuing to represent her, so long as they try to convince her to get back together.
The guys are late with their rent and the property manager tells them he'll give them an extra week if he can get them the firm's tickets to this Friday's huge baseball game between the Giants and Dodgers. Franklin quickly says yes but after the manager leaves Bash reminds him the firm sold their tickets and gave the remainder of this season to employees and clients. They see that Karp has the tickets for that game.
The latest plan for getting Infeld his license back is to tell the bar he's a sex addict who now realizes he has a problem and is being treated. Infeld seems to like it.
At the first conference between Beckman and Chelsea, Haskins is representing Chelsea. She's no-nonsense, more so than Beckmann likes. During the meeting it comes out that Chelsea had three plastic surgeries during the marriage.
The guys try to talk Chelsea into getting back with Beckmann. She isn't interested and the guys realize they need to represent her straight-up.
Karp tells the guys he'll give them the tickets if they can get him a table at a restaurant with a six month wait list.
In court Chelsea takes the stand and says she never wanted the changes which resulted from the surgeries. It comes up that she failed to disclose the fact she sought counsel near the time she signed the prenup, which kills the guys' argument for duress. They'll need to find another angle in 24 hours.
The guys go to the restaurant Karp is interested. The only possible way for them to get a table will be getting the fire marshal to add two people to the allowed capacity.
Mundy digs up a picture of Chelsea with Beckmann ten years earlier ago. She looks exactly the same, which seems to indicate she's been lying about the surgeries.
Chelsea tells the guys she isn't in the picture. Beckmann has been trying to change her to look like a former girlfriend. The guys think this might open up a new strategy.
At a house party the guys ask their buddy the fire marshal to add the table at that restaurant. He agrees, in exchange for some legal help.
Bash asks Haskins to handle the fire marshal's ticket, which is for a ticket. She threatens to bury them in paperwork and gives them one of her old business cards. It works. Unfortunately in the process of expanding the seating, the marshal found asbestos and wants to shut the place down for three weeks. Bash's idea is to "bring the restaurant to Karp."
The guys admit into evidence the old picture, arguing he was "cheating on his wife, with his wife." They ask for a few days to prove the photo's authenticity. It doesn't work, the judge says they have to prove infidelity some other way and gives them one more day.
The guys present their sexual deviance case to the bar. They are required to present evidence to his recklessness. He will be reinstated after seeking help.
The guys to the restaurant and offer the chef access to the beach house for the weekend in exchange for him cooking one private meal. It works and Karp agrees to give them the tickets.
In court Bash asks Beckman to show his idea of beauty. He takes random facial clips from a magazine and ends up creating the image of his ex. Even Beckmann is surprised. This allows the photo to be introduced into evidence. Beckman apologizes to Chelsea on the spot and they go to recess.
The guys drop by the beach house and find a large gathering. Infeld is there and tells them he'll be moving out in a month.
