Jack Burton is my fave character in the film cos he's such an eejit. He's a man who thinks he's an action hero, but really he's the worst action hero of all time. But he does something right at the end.
Kurt (with a beard) explains his meeting with John Carpenter for their first collaboration Elvis to his relationship with him to Big Trouble.
Kurt mentions the stuff I mentioned above and how he wanted to portray Jack like an actor who thinks the director is going to use the right take but is not.
He talks about how Fox didn't like the film because they didn't like the fact that the Asian fella was the hero and that the white American was the idiot. Then he finishes off by explaining the cult status it caused.
Overall a nice interview that'll please fans of the movie.
