Nonsense
bongobear198417 January 2015
If you are into self-indulgent cinema from female directors who see themselves as innocent victims of male sexuality then this is the film for you. All others need pass. I was expecting to see something a little deeper. Especially from Japanese who blame themselves personally even when it's not their own fault. The symbolism with the owl felt forced. If I hadn't seen this on a film fest pass I'd probably have asked for my money back. And why is everything out of Japan always so sexually obsessed? Don't they have anything better to do with their time? It's stuff like this that makes me more suspicious of Japanese cinema these days.
