Excellent film for the Dresden Files

This is a fan film based on the Dresden Files book series by Jim Butcher. It is set after "Proven Guilty", and the incidences in this film lead into the plot of the next book, "White Night".

Suzanne Solomon, the screenwriter, has done a wonderful job of evoking the style of the original author, while keeping its own voice. Landon Solomon is fantastic as Harry Dresden at this stage of his career. Just the right sense of snark and serious business.

There are plenty of Easter eggs and "blink and you'll miss it" moments for fans of the series, who this film was written by and for. Overall, it's a great addition to the Dresden Files mythos, and I can't wait to see more from this crew.

Fan Power For The Win

This short film is the creation of energetic and talented fans of Jim Butcher's Dresden Files books. Working on their own dime, casting through a variety of friends they have produced an excellent short with high production value for a fledgling venture.

Loads of fun to watch, it spurs the imagination with its unique vision of the Dresdenverse. Brava, Suzanne Solomon and company! Of course there is room for improvement vis a vis sound quality and (hopefully) the addition of closed captioning. Which is why a follow-up film is mandated by fans!

This reviewer looks forward to the second Dresden Adventure by Tower of Turtles: Red Sun.
