Outriggers
People enjoy themselves in the water, just shoreward of where the waves break. The camera pans, and outriggers come into view.
No one is surfboarding her,e and the reason why is obvious: the water's too calm, the waves too small, and the water too crowded. It's a nicely composed pan shot, and the native craft coming in towards the end are quite arresting.
Robert Bonine made about 20 of these short actualities in the last year or so of his film making career. Having seen almost all of them in the last week or so, I've run out of things to say.
