Detective Nick Amaro shoots a suspect, that turns out to be an unarmed African-American 14-year-old boy and suffers the wrath of the city, internal affairs and the justice system.
Amaro and Rollins are going home from a party celebrating Benson's passing the sergeant's exam. They hear some police in trouble so they join. Eventually Amaro and a cop he is with are shot at so he shoots back. They discover he shot a young (black) boy. The public is outraged and thinks the police are going to whitewash it. IA investigates and makes a big deal about Amaro drinking at the party. When he goes to see the special prosecutor he's willing to take a plea but the man wants to appease the public so he says there's going to be a grand jury.—rcs0411@yahoo.com
