As this episode is a little bit of a filler one. A little bit, as it suffers from the rent-an-expendable-extra syndrome.
The Ark has become a ghost ship, but there are some survivors and they will try to get the place going again before all die. The 100 are the center of the show, and the Ark has been treated a little bit like the fill-your-empty-moments before going back to Earth place. Actually, though, the characters in the Ark are interesting too, and seeing Kane getting a team to try to save as many as possible is a nice touch.
On the ground, we have a couple of unnecessary situations (Raven, Raven...), and some of those pesky extras, as Finn and Clarke are put in a difficult situation when Anya, the leader of the Grounders, kidnaps them. But enough things happen, and enough cliffhangers are left in place for the ending of season one. Enough that this calm is like an afternoon on the beach before the clouds gather...
