I like S1 a lot, but S2... hahaha

Season 1 was a real lot of fun. Having been to Korea and eaten my way through the country, i really appreciated the food in it, and the storyline was fun and the eye candy was interesting too. (Well worth the watch). I was a bit sad on how it made the not so pretty girl the obvious target of jokes though. I know she willingly plays the part but something really didn't sit right with that storyline with me.

So I've moved on to Season 2... and the awkwardness of this series is OUTSTANDING. It seriously has me laughing my butt off and cringing every episode. The actors play their parts SO well and although the food isn't featured quite so much in this series -which is a little disappointing (but still it makes me want to go back on the first plane to Korea as soon as the world plague ends) it's fun to watch and really... life IS like this for most of us, even if we don't want to admit it :)

Good enough

Season 1 : 6 out of 10 The story was good and the theme with the food was interesting. The eating scenes were very very very hard when you're hungry, because the actors know how to eat... The performances were good, but the love story so so Season 2: 7 out of 10 The food wasn't that good, but there was more variety in the cuisine field. The love story was better, with a nice chemistry between the two main actors, some funny scenes and a great dynamics between the residents of the appartment block. The love triangle was entertaining and the mystery interesting enough. The ending was disappointing. Season 3 Update As a big fan of the series, I admit that this one could have been the best one yet. However, the ending was the sole reason why this drama can't be rated 9 out of 10. Minus: -The ending was rushed due to the leads army enlistment and so the story never really ended properly. -The romance was nice, but getting our guy single again by killing his old girlfriend was a bit of a no no for me, as I loved them as a couple in the second season. -Sometimes the pace was tiring. Possitive: -The acting was great -The story was the best one yet, with those reply, youth vibes. Even the back and forth was cleverly managed. -There were some little inside jokes here and there, like when the two boys got in a fight over food, someone will come and stop them by pointing out that the food will get cold. -The food was plenty and didn't disappoint -The couple had chemistry So, overall, 7.5 out of 10.

I absolutely love this show. It's fun and light. I'm at episode 11 season 1, and i look forward to this show everyday once I get home everyday. The show has me actually looking up some of the dishes they eat. I find myself wanting to drive to my local Korean Market or restaurant just so i can try the dishes that are portrayed in the show. The characters are lovable and the side stories are not too heavey so far.
