James Spader in The Blacklist (2013)

Goofs

Lord Baltimore (No. 104)

The Blacklist

Edit

Continuity

Ressler says the key fits a 1977 G-series van. The G-series is a GM product. He then uses the key on a Ford E-series van. The two use completely different locks, so the key would not interchange.

Factual errors

During the opening chase, when the guerrilla uses the RPG to explode the chasing vehicle, the rocket exhaust would have roasted the head of the jeep driver.
Ressler says the key fits a 1977 G-series van. Since GM used the same key blanks from the late 60's through the early 80's, there is no way a key could be narrowed to a single year as was shown.

Plot holes

Yoruba is spoken in Nigeria, Benin Republic, parts of Togo and Sierra Leone, Cuba, and Brazil. This scene was tagged to be in Cameroon, one of the militant spoke Yoruba.

Character error

The deputy U.S. marshals have oval police badges. Marshal's badges are circular with a star inside.
Harold Cooper says his wife is from "the Dominican". It should either be "from Dominica" or "from the Dominican Republic" (two different countries).
Walter Martin (the interim task force director) uses the term "slide ruler". The actual name of the calculating device is "slide rule".
