Between breakups, illusions, and confessions, the first days of April's chemo treatment are eventful.

Warning: Spoilers
In the summer finale, April has finally committed herself to the hospital for Chemo treatments and while she deals with the effects of chemo, a lot of stuff happens. Whether it is her hallucinating and seeing her dad, Brenna and Greer getting into some serious trouble, or George really trying to see what could maybe happen between him and Sara. Add on a visit by both Dominic and Leo, as well as Danny, and you get a mid-season finale which may not be jaw dropping, and may feel like a regular episode, but is definitely as good as what preceded.

Topic 1: Is This The End? (Part 1) – Brenna (Featuring Greer)

Someone, likely Ford, has snitched on Brenna and Greer when it comes to them going off on their own to see Natalie. Leading to two issues: The first being Brenna having to tell Sara where she went, and then Greer's parents' reaction. Starting with the interaction between Brenna and Sara, when it comes to the topic of Natalie, you can see an almost "Oh S---" look on Sara's face. Especially when she realizes the whole family knows. Unfortunately though, not much is gone into when Natalie came to visit or any really interesting details I know I'm dying to know.

However, when it comes to Greer's involvement, the good part about Greer's parents being rich is that they can quickly, and easily, throw money at problems so that this whole, "your kids left school supervision" thing doesn't touch either girl's permanent record. Of course this doesn't come cheap though, so Sara naturally wants to pay them back in some way. Their request: keep your daughter away from ours. A request not due to Greer's sexuality, because they know and have no issue with that, they just want someone who is up to the standard they expect out of Greer. And with Greer now being harder to hang out with, and Ford and Kieran upset, it leaves Brenna a bit alone for now.

Topic 2: It's Alright To Be Afraid - April

Being cooped up in the hospital, while getting poison pumped through your veins, naturally isn't how April wants to use her time. She wants to get back to work, utilize her ambition and endurance to continue her career, but unfortunately has to defeat cancer first. But while her fight internally maybe alone, she is surrounded by friends and family. Sara, Brenna, and Beth spend the night with her, so she won't be alone, and each try to give her some sense of normalcy as she pukes and look a bit weary, but far from defeated.

Though even as strong as April seems, and with a decent amount of support, she grows tired of being sick and thinks about leaving. Leading her to call the one person she can talk to about this idea: Leo. Someone who just two days before just checked out and now is back in the hospital because April needs him. She wants to leave and he finds a way to talk her out of it. And while he helps her get her will to fight again, Dominic watches.

Topic 3: Is This The End (Part 2) – April (Featuring Sara, George, Leo and Dominic)

Dominic's return from the Daft Punk tour first leads to questions of is his mom alright, or if he simply came back due to April. Answer is: it's all April. But with the Leo hook up hanging over April's head, despite her and Dominic being on break, she feels a bit guilty of him giving her time and attention. Something which Beth doesn't understand, but with April having to let the truth out she tells Dominic about her and Leo and he seems a bit upset. In fact, he breaks up with her.

But while April and Dominic end, there may be hope for Sara and George perhaps. For while the kiss was seen by Sara to just be due to the stress of the moment, it seems George may really be interested in ending the way they currently see their relationship and maybe venture into dating. For, as he reveals, he did have feelings for Sara, but with his brother making a move before him, he backed down.

Leaving the topic of Leo. With Dominic gone, Leo becomes April's sole possible love interest at the moment and unfortunately it seems the strength he bestowed onto her to continue may have been all he had left. That is, unless seeing her struggle and make it through has inspired him to join in the fight as well. Though with us seeing his parents sad and weeping, it probably is better to expect the worse.
