Principal photography started on the 22nd June, 2013 and wrapped August 17th, 2013.
Nearly all the actors were contacted by Tom Danger the day they auditioned to tell them they got the part.
Almost all of the film equipment used to make the film was taken from director Tom Danger's University during the mid-year break for the entirety of principal photography, and returned upon completion.
The scene shot in Maitland Gaol was so intense, actress Alannah Robertson had to leave the room.
The first two drafts of the script took place inside an abandoned shopping centre as opposed to an abandoned prison. This was because director Tom Danger lived near an empty shopping centre and hoped to use it for the film, but legal problems kept this from happening, and so the script was re-written to take place in a different location.
