  [points at Miranda in the chest] 

  Destiny Rumancek : 'Cause you find yourself a guy with soulful eyes, who just happens to work at the repair shop. So you use repair shop boy as your patsy. I mean, it's almost too easy.

  Destiny Rumancek : But what you don't know is, but there are two things you don't know. One, Roman is a whole pile of evil shit that you even begin to understand. Two, Peter has a tender heart, and a cousin who loves him, and if you hurt him, I will put so much pain on you, you will never get well.

  Miranda Gates : I gotta go.

  Destiny Rumancek : Hey, you saw an opportunity and you worked it. I get that. I've done worse, trust me.

  [laughs] 

  Destiny Rumancek : It's a rough world and a girl's gotta make a buck. But you, girlfriend, gotta go make it somewhere else.

  [puts an arm around her and starts ushering her to the door] 

  Destiny Rumancek : So I'm just telling you this for your own good, Miranda. So go pack up your stuff, hit the road, and don't you ever come back here.It will end very badly for you if you don't.

  [kisses the side of her head] 

• Miranda Gates : [after "beating" Loisa at arm wrestling]  It's like my uncle Farley always used to say. "It's not how you do a thing, it's getting it done."

  Peter Rumancek : And what did he do?

  Miranda Gates : He dropped a cinderblock on his foot and he collected disability for the rest of his life.

  [laughs]
