I got annoyed by Finn all the times.
ououzaza25 February 2020
Finn is sooooo annoying, he cause all the conflict between characters for some stupid reasons, Finn don't deserve to be in The 100. HE IS RUINING MY MOOD WATCHING ARGGGGHG.

Although the episode is good, could be better without Finn.

I forgot how good this episode gets

Warning: Spoilers
The One Hundred vs. The Hundred... You know, I never had anyone say anything to me about this show during the entire on air running seasons of it. Raven literally said last episode that she is on the ground with THE HUNDRED, not the ONE hundred. So, case close. The show always says the hundred, never the one hundred. In this moment of Finn talking to Clarke about the use of guns and safety is freaking epic and will go down as a classic chat remembered in the series. So remember to jot that one down if you take notes. Finn is a pacifist, this is why he let the grounder go even after he got stabbed by him, and why he doesn't like them having the guns. That stabbing with a bullet would never ever work. You might bruise their neck slightly before the bullet slipped out of your fingers. It's also really really dumb to try to hit a resisting target in the neck. You'll virtually never be able to pull it off. Apparently the creators of book writer have verified that it's supposed to be pronounced "The Hundred". Not sure why, but that's why people were saying that lol.

Day Trip is great

I loved the episode, I liked Bellamy and Clarke bonding while traveling, the whole plot with the nuts was fun and it had a much needed break from love triangle drama

Bellamy's fate
tenshi_ippikiookami30 January 2016
Since the 100 and the Ark got into contact, there was the Bellamy's conundrum to take care of. He was alive, and he had shoot the Chancellor. And when he and Clarke go to a depot close by, in search of anything that could help with the coming winter, someone is following them, with orders to shut him up forever...

This eighth episode of season one is a weaker effort than previous episodes. Bellamy and Clarke become closer, and with a killer on their heels, they may die out there, before getting back to camp. Raven is trying to get Finn back in a childish way, and Octavia wants to help Lincoln, the grounder, as she believes his situation to be unfair and his life on danger. But a big part of the episode gets lost in a hallucinogenic trip the people get because of some food they eat.

At least the ending gives another interesting cliffhanger. They're a little bit obvious, but fun nonetheless... maybe because they are expected.

So about those guns...
nlcckc31 October 2022
Young Adult shows can be pretty tiresome, with all the immature love triangles, illogical decision-making, characters contradicting themselves, and magical escapes. And also the flawless hair. But I'm ok with all that.

What brings me here today is the guns.

The guns would have rusted solid after 97 years in a humid bunker. But wait - the writers anticipated this difficulty, and solved it rather well - by having the guns be packed in grease. That's actually believable...

...until...the Young Adults start shooting their new weapons. And guess what? The ammo is bad - again, believable - but the guns work fine. And that, my long-suffering reader, is impossible. The guns have to be meticulously cleansed of grease, or they WILL NOT WORK.

The end.

Video communication with a toy remote???
dragoshilbert6 December 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Previously we saw the communication with the Ark restored using a toy remote, now we see they have also video! So is no science in this SF.

The Lincoln and Octavia "love story" makes sense and is interesting but what is the reason for the constant semi-cleaveage of the main woman character? It looks like a try to provide something for everyone, probably is intended to a young audience but still what is the moral for a boy to change the sex partener twice in a few days? Just to hear the woman characters crying for the next 10 episodes?🤣🤣🤣 Forced drama, if ask me...

Otherwise, the drama part is not so well integrated with the action part.
