The Stage Lapse for Demo Day took 2.5 days to film; it was shot with a 5D and captured 1 still photo every 4 minutes for 60 hours straight, resulting in a total of 900 photos for the sequence. In other words, it took 60 hours of work to create 38 seconds of material.
The Robot DJ was inspired by a real-life startup pitch made to a San Francisco Accelerator, and its helmet was inspired by Iron Man (2008).
