Bad Drugs on the Street ****

Wouldn't you know that Nicki was attending a party where people were shooting up in the next room, and it turns out to be pretty bad stuff. She does the right thing by calling the police.

People throughout the city in all walks of life begin dropping like flies due to this bad shipment.

A stoic Frank asks Bebe Neuwirth for help. My major concern with this episode was Neuwirth's performance. She just didn't appear strong enough and sounded as though she was ready to be on Broadway again in "Chicago." Of course, it comes out at the end of the episode that her son fell victim to drugs some time back.

Jamie and his partner come upon a young female thief who has become recalcitrant due to her stepfather up in the exclusive Westchester. She certainly has a surprise for Jamie's partner at the end.

Saving evidence

There's some lethal heroin out on the streets of New York and while at a party that Sammi Gayle was attending some kids got some of it and a few OD'ed right there. Being from the law enforcement family that she is, Gayle has the presence of mind to call for an ambulance, not use her name to embarrass her family and save a packet as evidence for her Uncle Danny.

Of course Donnie Wahlberg and Marissa Ramirez are involved in the hastily put together task force to combat the plague and get the real'bad stuff off the streets. They have a gun battle with the bad guys who are quite organized and even have what we call a surface respectability.

Of course Bridget Moynahan and daughter are having a mother/daughter talk and the whole thing is up for debate at Sunday dinner.
