Ryan Philips is a school boy who is always up to mischief when it comes to studying the maths subject. His life is turned around when he discovers a magical pen at his antique collecting grandfather's house.

Ryan Philip (Master Sanoop) is a smart cute school boy who has one biggest problem: Maths. As he struggles to escape from doing his maths homework, he resorts to mischievous acts, little realizing the trouble he is making. As we see his relationship with his dad Roy Philip (Jayasurya) and mother Sameera (Remya Nambeeshan) and conflicts of interest we get introduced to Ryan's grandfather Richard Philip (Joy Mathew) who is an antique collector. On visiting his grandfather Ryan gets a magical pen called monkey pen. This monkey pen does his maths homework and soon changes his whole life.—Sreejith RR

Roy is a goodhearted, sensitive person whose small little world consists of his wife Sameera, his 8 year old boy Ryan and the pet shop they run in their own house nearby the beach. Roy live his life happily. His love towards Sameera and Ryan is evident in whatever he does. Roy tries to celebrate his love towards Sameera in every way possible. He never tries to impose anything on Ryan and let him be in free spirited way. He has an insightful approach towards life, which comes from the interesting experiences of his life.—Anonymous
